How BullionTree Makes Money

BullionTree is free to use as a buyer. Here's exactly where our revenue comes from instead.

Dealers pay to be part of the marketplace

Dealers subscribe to BullionTree in order to receive buyer requests. A dealer's plan determines how many buyer requests they can receive in a given month — it does not affect how their offers are ranked or shown to you. Every dealer's premium is displayed as reported, regardless of which plan they're on.

We don't take a cut of your purchase

BullionTree does not charge buyers, does not add a markup to any dealer's price, and does not take a commission or percentage of the transaction. What you see quoted by a dealer is what you pay that dealer — your purchase happens directly between you and the dealer you choose.

Why this matters for the comparisons you see

Because BullionTree's revenue comes from dealer subscriptions rather than a share of what you pay, we have no financial incentive to steer you toward a higher-priced offer. A dealer paying for a higher-volume plan appears in more buyer requests, but never gets preferential treatment in how their price is presented once they're in front of you.
